The recent “found footage” craze in cinema has mostly existed in the horror genre, but the March 2 release of producer Todd Phillips's (The Hangover) new comedy-drama, Project X, uses the technique to document what three teenage friends (newcomers Thomas Mann, Oliver Cooper, and Jonathan Daniel Brown) are hoping will be the greatest house party of all time. With a party this big, however, things are bound to go wrong. And go wrong they do. We’re talking total chaos wrong.

Regardless of how Project X’s bash ends, the film gives us a good excuse to run down The 25 Craziest Parties In Movies. There’s enough loud music, heavy drinking, nudity, and general debauchery in this list to make Caligula blush. And that’s exactly how we like it. Cheers!
