Director Takashi Miike, famous for bloody excellent films like Audition and Ichi the Killer, revealed during a Q&A session that his Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney adaptation will see a worldwide release with subtitles, vocal dubs and localizations for a number of regions. The Q&A took place after the film's public premiere, at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR).
Gamesradar reports that while critics weren't amused, the public had no "Objection!" to the film's crazy-faithful take on the popular series. Just check out the trailer above—we're pretty sure some of those shots are straight from the DS games.
Are you looking forward to seeing this in the US as much as we are? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter.
