Rockstar may have shut the door on Team Bondi, but they're still open to the idea of making another L.A. Noire. When asked during an "Asked & Answered" session on their website about the existence of any L.A. Noire content that might get released in the future, a Rockstar replied:

"While there won’t be any more DLC or additional content for the current release of L.A. Noire (we’re all too busy working on Max Payne 3, GTAV and other games to come), don’t count out the possibility of a new game in the L.A. Noire franchise in the future..."

Rockstar saying they're even open to the idea of making L.A. Noire 2 is the most positive news on the subject to date.

A L.A. Noire sequel has seemed extremely unlikely in light of the shuttering of developer Team Bondi. Bondi shut its doors months after the game's release, due in no small part to leaked emails revealing Rockstar's plan to sever all ties with the studio.

Of course, now that Team Bondi is gone and the Brendan McNamara scandal has blown over, there's no reason why Rockstar wouldn't jump at the opportunity to make a follow-up to the game... Someday.
