Though Blake Lively has been romantically involved with the likes of Penn Badgley, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Ryan Reynolds, she told Elle magazine a bit of surprising news about her love life in a recent interview: Apparently, Lively has never been on a date. Like, ever. Ever.
Something about this just does not seem OK.
As the 24-year-old actress told the magazine, "I've never gone on a date… If I've ever had a man in my life, it's because I know him well, and he really means something to me. I don't take that stuff lightly. I'd rather be by myself than be spending any time or energy on somebody that I didn't feel sure about."
Lively, who is currently dating her Green Lantern co-star, Reynolds, even gave a few tips for any hopeful suitors looking to take her out on her first date. Well, OK, she didn't phrase it that way, but we can dream, right?
"I had a few strangers hit on me!" She exclaimed. "Some guy acted like he liked my hat. Another guy acted like he liked my shoes! They're staring at your derrière, saying, "Hey, I really like your hat." Come on, dude!"
