Fast food is on the verge of becoming even faster, assuming you measure speed in terms of effort exerted (certain couch-bound individuals do measure in this manner). In other words, if you want a Whopper, but do not want to do anything outside of dialing a phone or placing an online order, Burger King will now accommodate you.
Correction: certain Burger King locations near Washington D.C. will accommodate you.
If you live within 10 minutes of BK lounges in Virginia and Maryland, you can pay a $2 fee and have the goods delivered. There is also a minimum order amount: $8. Just something they're tryin' out.
Fast food may now become fast 'n' easy food. Because it was too hard before.
