If you've been trapped in your own flying police box as of late, David Yates (director of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) recently announced plans to do a Doctor Who adaptation for the big screen. Later on in the week, BBC America confirmed the news, and thousands of Whovians cried out in glee. But while the wait begins to see who will play Dr. Who, we stumbled across something completely different. Rather than another reboot of the beloved show, allow us to present to you: CSI: Gallifrey.

The clip features the tenth doctor (played by David Tennant) leading his companions in a Clue-styled "who done it," as they try to crack a case. Take a look at this opening montage and see if you don't find this short mystery oddly intriguing. We'll make sure to keep an eye out on any future Doctor Who film news and its respective cast list.
