Pop Culture readers allow us to introduce you to Edward Burns. While he may be more known for his work in films like Saving Private Ryan and the upcoming flick I, Alex Cross, Burns has made quite a few attempts at writing and directing as well. His latest project, the indie martial drama Newlyweds, stars Burns as a New York husband enjoying his "eazy" marriage when his world becomes disrupted by the sudden arrival of his troubled little sister, played by Kerry Bishé

In the above clip, Burns' character finds out what it means to be married in the process of dealing with an extreme personality. The cast includes Caitlin Fitzgerald, who plays his wife Katie, Marsha Dietlein as Katie's sister Marsha, and Max Baker as Marsha's husband. This looks rather quirky and different for an indie film. Enjoy the trailer above and share your thoughts in the comments section below. Newlyweds comes to theaters on December 26th.
