Nintendo is launching a new Mario game next week, his first original outing on the Nintendo 3DS, and as you would expect, they are rolling out the red carpet to announce his arrival. Super Mario 3D Land isn’t just taking over the Nintendo 3DS but the world famous Times Square as well.
Nintendo has announced that they will be transforming Times Square into a virtual Mushroom Kingdom on November 12, the day before the game launches. The entire Square is being equipped with life size warp pipes, trampoline warp jumps, and even the flag pole finale. Plus, anyone who visits the exhibit will be given complimentary Tanooki ears and tails as a token of appreciation.
If you thought that Times Square was crazy before, just wait until tomorrow when Nintendo takes over.
