Is This the Manliest Restaurant in America?

Men's Health drops the spotlight on a Pittsburgh sandwich shop.

Men's Healthset out to list the "manliest" restaurants in America (which means what exactly?), and they have their finalist. After narrowing down their picks to regional finalists, they've selected a well-known sandwich shop from Pittsburgh: Primanti Bros.

Everyone in Western Pa. knows this place—there are a number spread across the city, but the original is in Pittsburgh's Strip District (46 18th Street), a neighborhood famous for its specialty food shops and wholesale grocers. The Primanti Bros. sandwich consists of two slices of Italian bread, a meat, metled cheese, french fries, vinegar-based cole slaw, and tomato.

The sandwich was designed so that an entire meal could be consumed at once, without needing anything more than your hands. It's a beautiful study in ergonomics.
