Google has reportedly sent over a Gmail app to Apple’s App Store for review. Thus, pending Apple’s approval, iPhone users—currently restricted by iOS’s Mail app—may finally have full access to all of Gmail’s requisite features found online, such as Priority Inbox, as well as push functionality. Not to mention, Google looks set to unveil a few new Gmail features such as contact icons, improved mail threading, and increased Google+ integration in the coming weeks, all of which could make their way onto the new app.
