This isn't the first time hop-hop and gaming have crossed paths, and it certainly won't be the last.

First Battlefield 3 stole the domain name ModernWarfare.com, and now Jay Electronica and Prodigy of Mobb Deep tap the name "Call of Duty (Modern Warfare 3)" for a new collabo. We'll be the first to admit, though, we don't see any connection between the lyrics and the track name, other than the Winston Churchill intro. Despite the lack of actual reference to the game in the track, it’s always nice to see a little love thrown out from one industry to the other.

And in case you're wondering just how hot off the press Jay Electronica's lyrics are, there's a reference to Steve Job's death in the first verse.

We want to say thanks to Matt for bringing this track to our attention.
