A recent poll by local station WTOP has labeled D.C. residents as the worst drivers in the area. According to the poll of 641 residents from D.C., Maryland and Virginia participated in the poll; Virginia has the best drivers, snatching thirty-eight percent of the votes. The seemingly-endless state of Maryland was right on its heels, coming in at 35 percent.
The District took home nearly half the votes for the worst drivers, earning an alarming 47 percent. That’s more than double the runner-up, which was Virginia at 22 percent. The most interesting finding of all is that 11 percent of the participants said that all jurisdictions are equally awful behind the wheel.
That’s probably the most accurate response.
