RZA's upcoming feature directorial debut, The Man With The Iron Fist, which stars the man himself, has been gaining momentum after casting some of Hollywood's finest. With principal photography ending earlier this year, nothing has hit the web so far; no stills, no clips, nothing. Other than the official synopsis, which finds a blacksmith defending his small village and his fellow villagers from a mysterious evil. MovieWeb caught up with blaxploitation beauty Pam Grierabout her involvement in the film, saying [SPOILER ALERT]:

"I play RZA's mother, in the mid-1800s... My character gives up her freedom to save her son. It basically starts out his journey, to a new land. It was very, very moving. Shooting in China was extraordinary. The people were so warm and so smart... Wait until The Man With The Iron Fist comes out. RZA is a martial artist, and he's a fantastic martial artist in the film. He's excellent."

RZA stars as the blacksmith, but the jury is out on whether he's any Tony Jaa on the big screen. Produced by Eli Roth and Quentin Tarantino, The Man With The Iron Fist stars Russell Crowe, Jamie Chung, Lucy Liu, Pam Grier, Dave Batista, Rick Yune, and Yoyao Hsueh, and will comes to theaters in early 2012.
