We were all saddened by the last second delay of OVERKILL’s Payday: The Heist on the PlayStation Network and PC last week but the delay wasn’t nearly as bad as many hoped. Sony has announced
that the game will go live this coming Tuesday, October 18, 2011 with the PlayStation Store update.
Imagine if Left 4 Dead was about bank robberies rather than fending off the undead. That is sort of how we would describe Payday: The Heist. It is a cooperative shooter where you and up to 3 partners have to work together like clockwork to pull off one of many insane criminal heists. It looks amazingly deep and incredibly fun.
