There's a contingent of people who believe Google is making us dumb and lazy. The latest update to Google's desktop Maps app is not going to help disuade that notion. The search giant today updated the Google Maps functionality in Chrome web browsers with voice search. Instead of having to type in an address or location, all you have to do is click the little blue microphone button and tell your computer where you want to go. The feature has been available via the Google Maps Android app for a little while, making it easy to search for locations while driving.
