In The Lincoln Lawyer, director Brad Furman's suspense-filled adaptation of Michael Connelly's 2005 novel, golden-haired Matthew McConaughey plays Mickey Haller, an ethically and morally questionable Los Angeles defense attorney who defends unsavory scumbags when not being chauffeured around town in his Lincoln sedan by a former client working off his debt. His client list appears to improve when a seemingly innocent Beverly Hills playboy (Ryan Phillippe), who is accused of rape and attempted murder, chooses Haller as his lawyer.

Haller is not the first movie attorney to operate in the underworld without a conscience (there's a reason that lawyers are the butt of so many jokes). With the thriller releasing this weekend, we prepare our case against The 10 Sleaziest Lawyers In Movies.
