Trailer Park: “A Bag Of Hammers” (Starring Rebecca Hall & Directed by Brian Crano)

So far, a flock of must-watch films from this year’s SXSW has caught our attention. The latest is A Bag of Hammers, which seems like it has all the necessary indie comedy elements in check.

Starring co-writer Jake Sandvig (Easy A), Jason Ritter (The Event), and Rebecca Hall (Vicky Cristina Barcelona), and with director and co-writer Brian Crano overseeing the process, the film tells the story of two juvenile GTA crooks who befriend a neglected boy next door, which switches their lives to a less comedic and more emotional lane.

The above clip is only a teaser without much to note except for its glimpses of a talented supporting cast that includes Chandler Canterbury (Knowing), Todd Louiso (High Fidelity), and Carrie Preston (True Blood). For now, we’ll just take the positive words of critics who've already seen the film, but we're definitely optimistic about this one.

My favorite of all the films at SXSW 2011! If this gets out, I'll definitely have to tell all of my friends to see it!
