This weekend marks the limited release of The Fighter, the true story of slightly-above-average boxer Micky Ward, played by Mark Wahlberg. Ward never won a world title, so you might ask, why the fuck is he getting a movie? Well, folks, producers know an easy Oscar grab when they see one, and nothing gets the gold quicker than a moving story of triumph over drug addiction. In the film, Christian Bale gives an amazing performance as Ward's older brother and trainer, Dicky Eklund, a former boxer who was once known as "The Pride of Lowell" before he got addicted to crack and hit rock bottom (check him out in the trailer). Bale got to kick it with Eklund to study him, but he probably also studied some of cinema's classic crackhead performances. Too bad he didn't have a list to know which ones that includes, but luckily you do! Grab your Bic and put a spark to the 15 best movie crackheads of all time...
