As if saving a human being's life last year wasn't enough, Chance the Rapper's latest move lend more reason to give him praise.
On May 4, the Chicago rapper tweeted out a series of "positive affirmations," among which he asserted "Wendy’s WILL bring back spicy nuggets at some point please please Lord let it be today." If you remember, the fast-food chain retired spicy nuggets back in 2017. The official Wendy's Twitter initially responded humorously, then agreed to do so under the condition of getting their tweet to be liked 2 million times.
Naturally, the internet banded together to get back the coveted nugs, as the tweet easily reached its goal in less than two days, currently sitting at over 2.1 million likes. In light of this achievement, it appears Wendy's has confirmed that they will bring back their staple menu item.
This isn't the first time Wendy's has made promises on social media. In 2017, the chain agreed to give a kid free chicken nuggets for a year, under the condition of getting 18 million retweets (needless to say, he is thankful for this new development).
In the midst of this exciting news, Chance took the time to remind fans that his debut album will arrive in July.
