Louis the Child linked up with fellow Chicagoan Joey Purp for the new single “Shake Something.” On the song, the producer duo—comprised of Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennett—create a moody, synth-laden, slow-burner, which showcases Purp’s trademark easygoing flow.

The new song follows the arrival of Louis the Child and Chicago producer Whethan’s collaborative mixtape Honey. Now that Louis the Child has finished up its European tour, the Chicago producers are set to appear at a few major festivals in the coming months, including Coachella and Electric Forest, as well as a headlining show at Red Rocks on May 10.

Purp and the duo have toured in the past, with Purp joining a few dates on Louis the Child’s large North American headlining tour last fall. Stream "Shake Something' via Spotify below, then catch the track's official music video up top.
