Exclusive: Sango Drops 'South End' Short Film and Shares New Details on 'In the Comfort Of'

The producer out of the Pacific Northwest readies his next full-length release.

If you're a longtime fan of Sango, chances are you've been waiting patiently for his upcoming album In the Comfort Of. The Seattle-based producer/DJ teased it over three years ago:

He's been dropping signs of its existence through interviews, new music, and more recently a tour by the same name. In November, he shared the cover art while leaving the release date a mysterious:

And while the release date is still under wraps—a DJ Khaled "soon come" feels appropriate here—today he's sharing some of the guest features on the album. JMSN, Xavier Omar, and Smino are all set to contribute to In the Comfort Of. More than that, Sango drops his short film South End, which was shot in Seattle.

"This short film is about the youth of South End, Seattle and how we must protect them from harm," Sango says of its importance. "They have a future ahead of them, and It's important we highlight that. We have to make sure we uplift them even when they don't want to accept the reality of growing up. South End forever."
