Get familiar with the name Lophiile. The Los Angeles-based producer/DJ by-way-of Washington state recently finished up a tour run with Zedd, has a collection of slick remixes and original cuts, and is planning to hit fans with more material in 2018.

He got a head start on his inevitable rise Tuesday with the release of his new record, "Off Top," which debuted on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 Radio show. Celebrated MC and people's champ Freddie Gibbs handles the lyrical end, and while he only drops one verse, it's filled with quotables from the Gary, Indiana representative: "Eastside boy the whole squad eat, on massage seats switching lanes/Necklace filled with water, wrist is filled with water, 20,000 on the pinky rang."

Gibbs, who mentioned to Zane Lowe that his Banana collab project with Madlib is "almost done," explained he approached the Lophiile track "like a heavyweight fight and knocked it out," which feels like an apt description given this hard-laced performance. Lophiile also shared his admiration for Gibbs with Lowe, as well as revealed he's in the "middle of working on an EP":
