According to TMZ sources, the rape occurred early on Saturday morning at 3:45 AM. Nelly was booked on second degree rape charges by Saturday morning around 7 AM, and it appears as though the rapper is now in custody.

Journalist Brandi Kruse has obtained documents that prove Nelly, real name Cornell Iral Haynes, Jr. was arrested at 6:39 AM by the Auburn Police Department.

Q103 Fox Seattle anchor Alexandra Lewis reports that the rape occurred on the rapper's tour bus while it was parked outside a Walmart.

An attorney working for Nelly, Scott Rosenblum, has released a statement calling the allegations "completely fabricated," "devoid of credibility," and "motivated by greed and vindictiveness."
