Beyoncé and Jay Z’s Twins’ Birth Certificates Reveal a Special Connection to Kim K

Wow. Who knew doctors saw more than one patient?

If you're the sort of person who routinely places bets on things like which doctors are delivering which celebrity babies, then you're a fucking weirdo. No offense. Also, if you put up actual money (what's wrong with you?) in favor of the doctor who delivered Beyoncé and Jay Z's twins being the same doctor who delivered multiple Kardashian babies, then good for you. You won. You're still a weirdo, though.

The usual suspects over at TMZ reportedly obtained the birth certificates (why, though?) for Rumi and Sir Carter, they claimed Tuesday morning. The documents reportedly reveal the delivery date and time as June 13 at 5:13 a.m. local time, with Rumi arriving shortly ahead of Sir. A separate report from Peopleadds that they were delivered at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. The birth was apparently kept secret for days—news of the twins' arrival didn't break until June 17.

The twins were delivered by OB/GYN Dr. Paul Crane, named an entertainment "industry favorite" by the Hollywood Reporter. According to TMZ, Dr. Crane has previously delivered babies for Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Blac Chyna. The TMZ report also includes a dumbass joke about a catcher's mitt, because of course it does.

Beyoncé released the first images of the twins last week. "Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today," she captioned the Instagram post. Shortly after, Beyoncé's mother Tina revealed in her own post that Rumi and Sir are a girl and a boy. "So happy my baby shared a photo of her babies with the world . . . Boy and girl what a blessing," she wrote.

Beyoncé and Jay Z welcomed their first child together, Blue Ivy, back in 2012.
