Frank Ocean’s longtime producer Malay added to the mystery of Booty Club when he teased a collaboration with the elusive singer on Friday.

What is Booty Club? It’s hard to figure out exactly what it is. According to Pigeons & Planes, Malay Ho referenced Booty Club during an August AMA that got users thinking it was another Frank Ocean project. It turns out that it might not have anything to do with Ocean, but rather could be a solo project by Malay.

Another theory is that Booty Club is an actual place people can attend. In that same AMA, a user asked if they could be taken to the Booty Club, and Malay told them to wait for tickets and rules. Pigeons & Planes also points out if you dial this number he tweeted out in September (215152025 312212) on his personal website, you’ll be directed to a recording of a woman who welcomes you to the Booty Club. When she tries to direct you to the number for VIP service, you’re disconnected due to “technical circumstances.” There’s tons of other numbers you could try, too.

We can speculate that Malay’s update on the Booty Club is probably new music from the two. Ocean could be brought on as some kind of executive producer or maybe he's an investor in this make-believe establishment. We’ll just have to wait for more details.
