In the summer of 2015, LA-based DJ/producer Jayceeoh called on Jersey's own Redman to guest on his track "Turn Me Up Some," and that collab must've been good to them, because in 2016 they emerged with a side project, 1000volts. They laced a couple of singles throughout the year, and today we have their newest latest, a monstrous anthem entitled "Bitch I'm Lit."

For those who might think it's weird for Red to hop on some EDM shit, don't trip; he's been here before. Back in 1998, Red got drum & bass maestro Roni Size to produce "I Got a Seecret," the last cut on his Doc's Da Name 2000 album, and he's collaborated a number of times with UK producer Adam F. It's just something about Redman where he'll merk any beat he's feeling. On "Bitch I'm Lit," Redman coasts on a track he calls "trap meets hip-hop for the marijuana movement."

Jayceeoh elaborates on the tune, saying, "This record is a good time! Just another glimpse into what 1000volts is all about. Real rhymes, hard beats, and a hypnotic drop that will turn out the party." He ain't lying there. As of right now we don't have official word on where this collaboration is going, but we do know one thing: after one listen, the only thing you'll be saying is "bitch I'm lit, bitch I'm lit..."
