Vince Staples upcoming EP Prima Donna finally has a release date. The project will be dropping on Aug. 26. According to a press release, Prima Donna will feature production from James Blake, No I.D., and DJ Dahi. It has six tracks and will feature A$AP Rocky and Kilo Kush.

In addition to the EP, Staples will also be dropping a short film to accompany it. The film will be directed by Nabil, who has previously worked with Kanye West, Frank Ocean, and more. There's no word about what exactly the film will address as of now.

Staples will also be putting out a limited edition vinyl of the project. You can preorder that on his website here beginning on Aug. 19. There will only be 5,000 copies total, so be sure to preorder yours if you want to assure you get one.

Prima Donna serves as Vince Staples' official follow up to his debut album Summertime '06, which dropped back in 2015. The album was critically acclaimed, if not hugely commercially successful. It did spawn the popular singles "Norf Norf" and "Señorita." He previously premiered a James Blake-produced track called "War Ready" on HBO's Ballers, so their collaboration isn't totally surprising. The song also featured a sample of André 3000's verse from the Outkast song "ATLiens." That song will not end up on the project, but shows that Staples and Blake have had music in the works for a while now.
