This episode of OVO Sound Radio is dedicated to PARTYNEXTDOOR and his new album P3, which was released on Friday.
PARTYNEXTDOOR shared some thoughts before the release of P3 on Twitter, writing, “I’m anxious, I feel I only ever talk in songs. And I, myself, haven’t spoken in a while …. And I’m about to say a lot tonight through my music…” He also posted a special note on his official website to his fans and stated that he’s going to try harder to interact with them. Look to his appearance on OVO Sound Radio to be a step in that direction.
As was the case when Majid Jordan, dvsn, and Roy Wood$ put out their albums, fans can expect this episode to play P3 in full. If you haven’t yet heard it in full, tonight's episode is a prime opportunity to tune in. P3 has previously released singles that include “Not Nice,”"Don’t Know How,” and “Come and See Me” featuring Drake. The album has production by Noah “40” Shebib and PARTYNEXTDOOR himself, as well as veteran Toronto producer Boi-1da and Los Angeles by way of Milwaukee producer Bizness Boi.
