Malia Obama continues to school us on the art of not giving a damn. As the 2016 Democratic National Convention wrapped up, the 18-year-old first daughter received a little bit of backlash for ditching the event in favor of Lollapalooza. On Thursday, concert-goers spotted Malia dancing in the crowd during Cashmere Cat's performance, which surprised some considering her high profile; however, that was nothing compared to the events that took place Friday.

Instead of enjoying music surrounded by commoners, Malia and her friends were allowed to dance on stage during Mac Miller’s set. And, clearly, Day 1 of Lolla was just a warm up for her. The first daughter didn’t hesitate to have a good time, and decided to show off some dance moves that will probably raise a few conservative eyebrows.

Judging by the crowd’s reaction, it’s safe to say many find it refreshing that Malia is so laid back and so unapologetically normal. Sure, she’s the daughter of the U.S. president, but she’s also an adult who doesn’t mind letting loose every now and then.

As pointed out by NME, Malia also took some time to vibe out to Major Lazer and Future.

Who knew Malia Obama was a Major Lazer fan💁🏻🙌🏼

Lolla will continue through Sunday and will include performances by Vic Mensa, Bryson Teller, and Vince Staples. And seeing as how Malia has demonstrated her love for hip-hop in the past, we’re hoping she continues to turn up for the remainder of the festival.
