Justin Bieber may have gotten some pushback after trying to claim the title of "last greatest living performer," but he's undisputed for the title of Instagram's most-liked photo. Bieber, friend to the Kardashian-Jenner Krew, beats out previous title holder Kendall Jenner for Instagram's most-liked photo with a throwback of him and former flame Selena Gomez kissing.
Kendall held the title beginning June of last year when an Instagram photo of herself laying down with her hair arranged into heart shapes, because #aesthetic, amassed 2.4 million likes. She barely snagged the most-liked photo title from big sister Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who held the throne with their wedding photo. And who do you think had the most-liked photo before KimYe? Bieber. That photo was also of him and Gomez. So, it all comes full circle.
Bieber reclaims his title, Mashablereports, with a whopping 3.5 million likes for an emotional throwback photo he posted six weeks ago of the on-again-off-again couple in a pool kissing captioned, "Feels." One of those likes was Gomez herself, who commented "Perfect."
Looks like 3.5 million people still believe these two can work it out. One of those people may just be Drake, who commented in December on a throwback Bieber posted of himself and Gomez, writing, "Damn thought this was a Jelena current day flick."
Despite being spotted together last year and fueling rumors of reconciliation, Gomez toldRolling Stone in January she was done talking about Bieber, but that clearly didn't stop him from reminiscing.
