Young Thug isn't one who normally opens up during interviews, and in fact, he rarely does interviews in general. However, that changed this week when Thugga went on a press run in New York City with Lyor Cohen for his upcoming project, Slime Season 3. Their latest sit down came with Ebro on Apple Music's Beats 1 Radio, where Thug talked about a number of topics, like first meeting Gucci Mane, working with Jamie xx, and much more.

Additionally, Thug talked about his relationship with Lil Wayne, and despite the issues they've had recently, he said he still looks at Weezy as his idol. The statement was interesting since Wayne and Thug have sort of traded shots for about a year now, and Thug was even named in an indictment to conspire to kill Wayne with Birdman. Still, Thug said that he's always looking to Wayne's music, even today. Again, this is probably the most Thug has ever opened up in an interview, so it's definitely a must-listen, which you can do below.
