Last November, Prince announced he would embark on an intimate solo tour in Europe called Piano & a Microphone, but he postponed it due to the attacks in Paris. Now, Prince has revisited the tour series and instead will hold a pair of performances at his Paisley Park estate in Chanhassen, Minn.

Prince may have limited the amount of stops, but that doesn’t mean this show won’t be special. On Jan. 21, he’ll be hosting shows: one will take place at 8:00 PM and the other one will be later at 11:00 PM. Prince will be backed by his band 3rdEyeGirl.

As per the press release:

“For those lucky enough to attend, everything about these exclusive solo performances has been carefully considered to deliver special once-in-a-lifetime experiences. The repertoire list will be culled from Prince’s vast 39-album catalogue and each performance will have a unique set-list that evolves in real time song-to-song.  Fans should expect to witness special interpretations of well-known hits, alongside rarely performed B-sides and new never-before-heard material.”

The press release also notes that Prince canceled his European tour because of “sky-rocketing resell prices on secondary ticketing outlets even prior to the official on-sale date.” The pair of performances at Paisley Park is his stance against scalpers.
