It's been a little over two weeks since One Direction wrapped up its last appearance together on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve before going on an extended hiatus and Liam Payne is already focusing on his solo career. The singer took to Instagram today to tease a short snippet of his first post-1-D music under his own name. “Little Song I wrote for fun yesterday,” Payne wrote as a caption to a short video clip of him lip-syncing to a track that sounds a little reminiscent of some smooth Justin Timberlake R&B.
There's no telling at this time when we might get to hear the full track, or what the clip might eventually portend to. Recently, Payne has been spotted in the studio with TM88 and Juicy J with the latter posting a picture to Instagram of himself with the singer early last year with the caption, "We working!"
