Listen up Taylor Swiftfans!
It was announced earlier on Sunday that Simon & Schuster will publish a brand new Taylor Swift book with a help of a fan. The publisher says they’ll use crowdsourcing to find “one super-Swiftie” who will be the honorary author of the book.
The book will be an illustrated volume with a feel of a scrapbook. It will collect various magazine profiles and other writings throughout her 10-plus career.
The author will be chosen through a contest. Eligible fans are supposed to send a three-minute video of them passionately making their cases. One winner will be awarded with $10,000 and the fame of having their name on the jacket. As far as the cover itself, the publisher plans to hold another contest at a later time.
The idea is to get all superfans from all around the world involved to make this book extra special. Simon & Schuster haven't announced when the contest will happen yet, but stay tuned for when that information becomes available.
