Sylvan LaCue is set to release his new EP, Evangeline, later this week. The Miami rapper who formerly went by QuESt describes the project as a "postlude" to Far From Familiar, his anticipated full-length album, and it's clear on his latest track "Caravan 04" that LaCue is finding inspiration in the right places.
The smooth production from Fortune of the Flow Fi collective and warm vocals from Linzi Jai set the tone for LaCue's personal lyricism as he opens up about a relationship with a girl he holds dear to heart. It's worth noting that Evangeline is named after his girlfriend, and that sweet gesture is brought to life on wax with "Caravan 04."
