Kendrick Lamar's "Alright" is an anthem. The To Pimp A Butterfly cut might not have the radio spins to show for it, but the song has been one of the year's most vital singles, inspiring uplifting "we gon' be alright" chants at protests around the country. The Colin Tilley-directed video doubled down on the effect, showing Lamar literally floating around his city. And not unexpectedly, "Alright" is a hit at live shows, a fact on full display in a recent taping of Lamar's performance at Austin City Limits. The performance will air on January 9th on PBS, but the network has shared an early preview of "Alright."
