R. Kelly, set to release his new album The Buffet on Dec. 11, took some time out of his promo run to sing the National Anthem at Tuesday's Brooklyn Nets matchup against the Atlanta Hawks. Prior to taking the stage, Kelly was filmed shooting a three-pointer with perfect form despite being dressed to impress. We caught up with the King of R&B just moments before to discuss a range of topics including his legendary Trapped In The Closet series, who he thinks is next to take the R&B crown, and his forthcoming album.

Much like Master P, R. Kelly recounted a story where he played Michael Jordan in a pick up game. And he, too, says he won the match. And like Master P, a pair of shoes were on the line. But if we're being real, Kelly's story just feels more believable. When it comes to other rappers not named Master P, we asked R. Kelly the age old question: Who's in your top five? Without hesitation, he fired off some solid picks and even hit us with his sixth man.

Being that he is the king, we spoke to him about who he thinks is the "Prince of R&B." Again, he already had his selection at the top of his mind and expanded on why he thinks his pick deserves the crown. Lastly, and for many of you, most importantly, he revealed that he has more chapters of Trapped In The Closet on deck. He shed a little bit of light on what will happen next, but like a true entertainer, he kept the best info close to the chest.
