Over the summer, it was reported that Facebook might be launching its own music streaming service. While that hasn't happened yet, Facebook did just announce a new music feature. Today, the social media giant revealed its new 'Music Stories' feature. The discovery tool will let users post and share 30-second clips of their favorite songs and albums from either Apple Music or Spotify to their Facebook News Feed, according to Mashable.
The director of product at Facebook Michael Cerda revealed in a blog post that other streaming services will also be added. While the music stories feature is already available on iOS as of today, Facebook is working on adding the feature to work on Androids and desktops.
