Urban Outfitters is famous for making everything old new again—from selling classic vintage t-shirts, to being the second-largest retailer of vinyl records at the moment. Tthe retailer will now be involved in bringing cassette tapes back, and better yet, the retro cassette players to play them on.

Starting this month, they will be selling cassettes both online and in certain stores nationwide, with the launch coinciding with National Cassette Store Day around the country. The occasion will be highlighted with parties in NYC, L.A. and Omaha, where they will be handing out Volume 11 of their mixtape series curated with tracks from Hop Along, Deafheaven, Larry Gus, Destroyer, Youth Lagoon and more.

There are already some cassettes for sale online from Action Bronson, Death Cab For Cutie, Halsey, Marina And The Diamonds and Nate Ruess. As a special bonus, the Urban Outfitters Omaha location recently teamed up with Burger Records to create an in-store "Casigarette Machine," where $5 will get you a cassette dispensed through a transformed cigarette machine. You can grab the them online now. Cassette Store Day goes down Oct. 17 at all of the participating locations listed below.
