A new Dr. Dre album is finally here. Sixteen years after the release of Dre's sophomore record, 2001, we learned last week that he had scrapped his mythical and long-in-the-works Detox album for something else: a Straight Outta Compton biopic-inspired album fittingly called Compton. Since the initial announcement we've slowly learned bits and pieces more about the record: at sixteen tracks, the album is a feature-packed showcase, with appearances from the likes of Kendrick LamarSnoop DoggEminem, King Mez, and more. We also know that Dre is donating all his royalties to building a new arts center in Compton.

Check out a full breakdown of the many features on the project here and read up on Dre's comments about both Detox and Compton here.

As for the album itself, Compton is available exclusively on Apple Music, and you can listen to a pre-release stream right here (like, right now!). Head over to the official iTunes release page at midnight to purchase and keep listening from there.
