While marijuana legalization is picking up steam across the country there's still plenty of time to get onboard the train of startups trying to capitalize on the market. Snoop Dogg is the last rapper we'd expect to pass up on the opportunity, which is why it's no surprise he's investing in a startup described as the Uber of weed.
Business Insider reports Uncle Snoop is one of several investors who pitched in $10 million to Eaze, a medical marijuana delivery startup based in California. The service is currently available in 35 cities, and promises to deliver the green medicine in about 15 minutes. This latest round of funding is sparking Eaze to hire 50 new employees in its expansion efforts.
