Back in August, we premiered Jazz Cartier's "Set Fire" video and even back then, we knew everyone would be checking for him. Today, he finally debuts his anticipated mixtape, Marauding in Paradise. Sure, there's a handful of artists coming out of Toronto that aren't affiliated with OVO and XO but Jazz is one of the more promising acts, able to seamlessly contort melodies over heavy-hitting production from his longtime friend, Lantz. His Downtown Toronto sounds ride heavy through the 16-track project.

"As the only one giving it an identity, Marauding In Paradise is a story of built up emotions, and frustrations, through the eyes of the city's biggest target," he told Fader. "All the intricacies throughout this project foreshadow life and death, and I'm content with that."
