It looks like the wait for Bang 3 continues, however it does look like fans will be able to get their hands on some new Chief Keef music soon. The Chicago rapper took to Twitter and Instagram to deliver the bitter-sweet news that his next project will not be in the Bang series, but is entitled The Cozart. He has not announced an official release date, but he did repeatedly tweet that it was coming soon; the more important information is that the album will be released in stores—presumably both physical and digital copies will be available at some point—making this Keef's second official studio release and first as an independent artist.
Keef also linked to an Instagram post of The Cozart's album cover, which resembles a negative stencil drawing of a photo of the rapper. Lastily, he flexed his continually maturing production skills with a teaser of a beat that he was in the process of creating. The track definitely sounds like it has the makings of a banger, albeit heavily reliant on an ethereal atmosphere. If this short clip is an indication of how The Cozart will sound, we are definitely in for an interesting experience.
