The-Dream's assault charges were reportedly dropped this morning. According to NY Daily News, the singer "did a short dance" out of the courtroom after the charges were dismissed. The-Dream was charged with felony assault and strangulation for allegedly attacking and threatening to kill his pregnant ex-girlfriend Lydia Nam. Prosecutor Jacqueline Cornell said that "“After a thorough investigation, we have determined that we cannot prove this case beyond a reasonable doubt,” but would not go into detail about the Manhattan District Attorney's decision.
