While Bobby Shmurda's legal situation continues to play out, the MC called Hot 97 from Rikers Island this morning for a quick interview before the cops cut off the call. During the interview, Shmurda talked about his time at Rikers and said the he and Rowdy Rebel had been together for the majority of their time inside before Rebel was placed in solitary confinement. Shmurda didn't give exact details about why Rebel was placed in solitary confinement, but did say that there was an altercation that involved both of them inside.

Shmurda also talked about the night he was arrested and flat out denied any of the charges against him. "What they hearing about that night, that shit is not true, the cops been out for me for forever, but they never catch me with nothing."

Listen to the full interview above.

UPDATE 3/5/15: After getting cut off early last week, Bobby called into Hot 97 again this morning, which you can hear in full below. During this conversation, Rowdy Rebel is also on the phone, and just like Shmurda has already stated, he said that they expected Epic Records to bail them out. While Shmurda says that the rumors of his uncle bailing him out are false, he did reveal that he's been trying to get into contact with 50 Cent to potentially manage him and Rowdy.
