In a surprising announcement made by Funkmaster Flex on Instagram, DJ Mister Cee is resigning from Hot 97 today, and his last broadcast will air later today. If you recall, this isn't the first time that Cee has resigned from the station, first doing so back in 2013 amidst rumors surrounding him soliciting sex from Bimbo Winehouse. As of right now, there is no official word as to why Mister Cee is leaving the station again, but you can turn into the online stream of what will be his last show on air, tonight from 8-10 p.m. here.
This isn't the first loss of personnel for Hot 97 this year, with Angie Martinez and Karlie Hustle both leaving the station for different opportunities. We will continue to update with details on Mister Cee's resignation when they're made available by him or the station.
