Fans of Raekwon were probably expecting a Wu-Tang Clan appearance when he was announced as the headliner of the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival. What they got was something completely different. Known for ability to stay relevant, the Chef brought out three of Brooklyn's current buzz makers: Bobby Shmurda, Troy Ave, and Papoose.

The crowd's reaction to Shmurda's "Hot Nigga" was somewhat flat. Perhaps it's because they weren't expecting him to come out after being spotted at King of Diamonds last week, or maybe it's because the song just isn't "real hip-hop" enough for an audience that watched Jay Electronica earlier in the show. Either way, Bobby Shmurda will not be escaped this summer. And he might have even caught up with Jay Z backstage.

But Raekwon's set wasn't limited to just new school rappers, as he brought AZ and Lil Fame of M.O.P. to perform "Life's A Bitch" and "Ante Up," respectively. Not to mention the fact that he also performed his own classics such as "Ice Cream."
