50 Cent's "Animal Ambition" Sold 47,000 Copies In Its First Week

The first week sales for 50 Cent's Animal Ambition are officially in. According to Billboard and Soundscan, Curtis sold 47,000 copies in his first week, which was good enough for the No. 4 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

This album was 50's first since leaving Interscope Records and going the the independent label route. Miranda Lambert took the top spot on the charts, selling 179,000 copies of her new album, Platinum.
