Pharrell is performing at Coachella this year, and he is now offering two fans with the opportunity to meet him during the festival. He is auctioning off a Coachella package that also includes two VIP tickets to the second weekend (April 18 - 20) through eBay. The catch? You have to be able to afford it. Bidding started at $1,600, and at the time of publishing, the top bid is at $1,855. The auction will end April 15.
Earlier this year, Pharrell auctioned off the hat he wore at the Grammys using eBay (which Arby's won by spending over $41,000). So with two major deals in three months, it begs the question: Is Pharrell the new brand ambassador for eBay?
Whether or not he's getting an extra check from eBay, the birthday boy is doing pretty well for himself. He released his latest solo album, G I R L, March 3, his single "Happy" has topped the Billboard charts for over a month, he celebrated his 41st birthday with a Sponge Bob-themed party, and he will be the musical guest for tonight's episode of Saturday Night Live.
