DJ Mustard is no stranger to making hit records; after all he has become a staple on the Billboard Hot 100 in the past couple of months. Some could even say that the success of he and YG's platinum single and ode to camaraderie, titled "My N***A," was unheard of with it's not so radio-friendly content. Mustard's magic touch behind the boards shattered that fear, with his infectious production style that lends a lot to New Orleans bounce music.

In a new interview with Hardknock TV, Mustard walks the viewer through the creation of "My N***A," from bassline to bass drums. Mustard also gives a candid interview which touches on his motivation for producting, the impact of his brother who is serving life in prison, and the claims that his sound lifts it's influence from the Bay Area.
